Good News from Bordeaux France
where I have locked up a grrrreat theater space for Think Tank 2010.
Walter and I will discuss day by day structure of the 10 day Think Tank
next week .  Please note the dates july 4th though  14th 2010.
Members of my S P Ensemble NASA will act as the hosting body for this event and will beef up the orchestra.

Soundpainting Jam Party with the BSC!

Brooklyn Soundpainting Company is hosting a Soundpainting Jam party with our company members on Sunday, February 28 from 7-10pm.
If you’re already a Soundpainter or Soundpainting performer, come play with us!  If you’re looking to learn more about Soundpainting, come check out the jam and learn some gestures.
There will be beer, snacks, and a lot of fun improv.

ZAHA CD Release Party

Tonight at Ibeam: ZAHA celebrates the release of their CD Shoot the Sun on Snapback Records. ZAHA is a chamber ensemble devoted to composing music in real time.

Tonino Miano and Brian Groder will open the evening with a piano/trumpet duo exploring the improvisational possibilities of 20th century & contemporary classical music.

This Event was a performance conceived by Soundpainter Etienne Rolin
and his Ensemble NASA for the National Heritage day in Bordeaux.
Feauturd were fellow SP friends Yann Kaddachi and Simon Couratier from
the Paintatonic Ensemble from Oreléans.
On the theme of Accesibility the 12 piece NASA band performed
with an additional 50 performers the public, who were briefed on SP’s basic
signs 15mn before the show.
